winters that I began creating imaginary characters and spinning stories around them. My family thought I was a bit batty when I would speak to people that they couldn't see. I thought it was great fun. It was my imagination at work. I knew at an early age that I wanted to be a writer. When I was a young child I began making up imaginary stories from the cartoons I had watched earlier that day. Then telling them to my sister at night; with whom I shared a bedroom. The stories were vivid and imaginative and totally believable; even if they were a complete figment of my imagination. But I had my sister captivated for a long time and she quite looked forward to my nighttime recounting of the cartoons I had watched. This kind of storytelling was the beginning of my writing career. It's been a long journey and I've encountered plenty of setbacks and disappointments. But I knew I had to persevere. For if I wanted to know true happiness I knew I had to find a way to share all of the wonderful tales that were inside of my head. I had to write. And so I did. And I continue my life voyage; eagerly absorbing experiences and observations. Then transforming them into sagas of adventure, mystery and romance. Writing is my story.
